Only a couple of days after Anna Kournikova told PEOPLE she never wants to get married, her boyfriend Enrique Iglesias told reporters he’s been trying to get her to marry him for years.

“I always try, but she pays me no attention,” Iglesias told reporters Friday after arriving in the Dominican Republic for the first of nine concerts planned across Latin America. Iglesias has been involved with the tennis star for at least three years.

Earlier this week, PEOPLE spoke to Kournikova at the First Annual Nautica South Beach Triathalon and responded to a question about her relationship with Iglesias. “I’m never getting married,” she said, adding, “Everything is good.”
